Traffic Awareness Seminar Held at Government College University Faisalabad, Emphasis on Promoting Road Safety Awareness Among Students

The City Traffic Police organized a Traffic Awareness Seminar at Government College University Faisalabad. Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Rauf-i-Azam, while announcing the establishment of a Road Safety Club at the university, stated that an organized traffic system is a hallmark of civilized societies. He emphasized that the university is playing its full role in promoting traffic awareness among students and protecting precious human lives from road accidents.
Addressing the participants, Chief Traffic Officer Nasir Javed Rana said that educational institutions are playing a key role in traffic awareness campaigns. He thanked the Vice Chancellor of GC University for supporting efforts to ensure better traffic flow and prevent road accidents, and for approving the formal establishment of a Safety Club at the university.
Director Students Affairs Dr. Nadeem Sohail and In-charge Traffic Safety Club Professor Dr. Muhammad Qasim also addressed the seminar and appreciated the traffic awareness initiatives of the Traffic Police.
Public Relations Officer City Traffic Police Dr. Muhammad Ismail and In-charge Education Muhammad Saleem delivered detailed lectures to students on traffic awareness. A question-and-answer session was held at the conclusion of the seminar.
On this occasion, in accordance with the vision of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, a Mobile Licensing Van issued driving licenses to a large number of students at the university. The Traffic Awareness Walk and other related activities at Government College University Faisalabad will continue in the future as well.
