Vice Chancellor, Government College University Faisalabad, Prof. Dr. Rauf-i-Azam, met with Commissioner Faisalabad, Raja Jahangir Anwar, at his office to discuss the role of higher education institutions in the environment, health, and education sectors.

The Vice Chancellor briefed the Commissioner on the University’s initiatives through its Environment Department and the faculty’s contributions toward promoting a sustainable and eco-friendly environment. Matters of mutual interest were also discussed.

Prof. Dr. Rauf-i-Azam appreciated the Chief Minister’s Beautification Campaign, under which Faisalabad is becoming a cleaner, greener, and more beautiful city. Commissioner Raja Jahangir Anwar acknowledged the valuable services of Government College University Faisalabad for the development of the city and emphasized that higher education is essential for the young generation. He further highlighted the need to improve academic standards and introduce scientific and development-oriented models to strengthen Pakistan’s economy.
