
A comprehensive Civil Defense training session was organized for the security staff, estate care team, and relevant personnel at Government College University Faisalabad. The aim of the training was to enhance the professional capabilities of the staff and improve their preparedness for emergency situations. The training was conducted by experts from the Department of Civil Defense, Government of Punjab, under the guidance of Chief Security Officer Professor Dr. Asghar Jamal.
During the session, the security personnel received practical training on various aspects, including immediate response in emergencies and wartime scenarios, techniques for safely rescuing victims, provision of first aid, and prompt safety measures in case of fire, earthquake, or any potential attack. The training also covered rescue operations and evacuation procedures.
The program not only focused on equipping the staff with safety skills but also aimed to boost their mental readiness and moral commitment so they can respond effectively and responsibly in any situation.
On this occasion, Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Rauf Azam stated, “The students of GCU Faisalabad are our top priority. Parents send their children here with great hope and trust. It is our responsibility to provide them with a secure academic environment and to ensure that our security staff is trained according to modern standards, so they can respond optimally in every possible situation.”
The university administration is consistently working on the installation of modern security systems along with the ongoing moral, professional, and technical training of the staff, ensuring that the campus remains a safe, well-organized, and exemplary educational institution in all respects.
