A delegation from Government College University Faisalabad (GCUF), led by Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Rauf-i-Azam, participated in the International Poultry Expo Lahore (IPEX 2026). The delegation comprised Professor Dr. Mahr un Nisa (Izaz-i-Fazeelat) Department of Nutritional Sciences, University Focal Person for IPEX, along with other faculty members and students. The Vice Chancellor attended the expo as a Guest of Honour highlighting the university’s academic, research, and scientific achievements.

In his address, Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Rauf-i-Azam highlighted GCUF’s international QS rankings and significant accomplishments in research. He particularly emphasized that 55 GCUF scientists have been included in the list of the world’s top 2% scientists associated with Stanford University, reflecting the university’s research excellence, academic capabilities, and commitment to scientific advancement.

During his visit to various exhibition stalls, Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Rauf-i-Azam interacted with representatives and experts from the poultry industry to explore opportunities for collaboration on various research and development projects.

More than 100 GCUF students also participated in the expo and actively engaged in academic and professional activities related to the poultry industry. The students successfully cleared the written round of the quiz competition, effectively representing the university in the preliminary stage and demonstrating their knowledge, preparation, and professional interest in the field.

Professor Dr. Mahr un Nisa played a pivotal role in organizing and coordinating the delegation, guiding the students, and ensuring their effective participation in the expo.
