Government College University Faisalabad launched a plantation drive at its Chiniot Campus, reaffirming its commitment to environmental sustainability and a cleaner, greener Pakistan.

The plantation campaign was led by Prof. Dr. Rauf-i-Azam, Vice Chancellor, Government College University Faisalabad, along with Prof. Dr. Rehan Sadiq, Provost, Nazarbayev University, Republic of Kazakhstan, Dr. Falak Sher, Director, GCUF Chiniot Campus, Dr. Danyal, representative of the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Pakistan, Dr. Wasif Waseer, CEO of Global Pathway Education, Mr. Chaudhary Masood Iqbal, renowned businessman and philanthropist, as well as deans, directors, faculty members, researchers, and students.

Participants planted saplings to promote environmental conservation, enhance biodiversity, and contribute towards a greener and pollution-free Pakistan. The initiative highlighted the shared responsibility of protecting the environment and ensuring a healthy, sustainable future for generations to come.
