Vice Chancellor of Government College University Faisalabad 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟 𝐃𝐫 𝐑𝐚𝐮𝐟-𝐈-𝐀𝐳𝐚𝐦, is currently on an official visit to the United Kingdom to strengthen academic and research collaboration with leading British universities.

During his visit to 𝐋𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐤 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 (LSBU), Prof Dr Rauf-I-Azam toured various teaching and research facilities, including laboratories related to materials science, engineering, and health education, accompanied by Dr Issa Chaer, Dean of Research at the College of Technology and Environment.

The Vice Chancellor also met a group of graduate students, including GCUF graduates pursuing higher studies under collaborative initiatives between GCUF and LSBU. He was further briefed on sustainable infrastructure development and facilities management by Mr Ivan Byrne, Manager Estate, Operations and Technical Services.

The visit is expected to pave the way for long-term academic partnerships, joint research projects, and enhanced opportunities for faculty and student exchange between the two institutions.
