GCUF Reviews Quality Assurance Measures to Enhance Academic Standards

A meeting of the Internal Quality Circle (IQC) for Continuous Quality Improvement was held at Government College University Faisalabad under the chairmanship of Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Rauf-i-Azam.

The meeting was attended by deans of faculties, the registrar, controller of examinations, directors, and chairpersons of academic departments. Participants reviewed the academic audit report and discussed various quality assurance initiatives undertaken during the last two semesters to strengthen academic standards and enhance the quality of education at the university.

Speaking on the occasion, Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Rauf-i-Azam highlighted the measures implemented by the university to ensure continuous quality improvement. He emphasized that quality assurance remains a top institutional priority and plays a vital role in achieving academic excellence.

The vice chancellor also outlined the university’s future roadmap for further strengthening quality assurance mechanisms, improving academic performance, and aligning educational practices with national and international standards.

The meeting reaffirmed GCUF’s commitment to fostering a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement in teaching, learning, and research.
