Balochistan is a Valuable Province of Pakistan; Baloch Students Should Contribute to National Stability Through Education: Vice Chancellor, Government College University Faisalabad

Vice Chancellor of Government College University Faisalabad, Professor Dr. Rauf-i-Azam, met with Baloch students enrolled at the university and welcomed them to the institution. During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on academic, social, and welfare-related matters.

The Vice Chancellor stated that Balochistan is Pakistan’s largest and most valuable province, rich in natural resources, energy, and minerals, and is playing a vital role in fulfilling the country’s needs. He said that students coming from Balochistan are provided with equal opportunities and importance at the university alongside students from Punjab and other provinces.

Professor Dr. Rauf-i-Azam urged the students to play a positive role in the development, stability, and prosperity of Pakistan so that the country can achieve a distinguished position in the world. He added that the Government of Pakistan is working on various mega projects for educational and economic development in Balochistan, and that the province will soon move further along the path of progress and prosperity.

On this occasion, Director Students Affairs Dr. Nadeem Sohail stated that every possible facility is being provided to Baloch students at the university, and special measures are being taken for their education and training.

The Baloch students appreciated the Vice Chancellor for taking commendable initiatives at the university and for removing obstacles in their educational journey. As a gesture of respect and appreciation, they presented him with a traditional Balochi turban and walking stick.
