New Facilities Inaugurated at Girls’ Hostels of Government College University Faisalabad Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Rauf-i-Azam Visits; RO Water Plants and Warden Rooms Made Operational
The Vice Chancellor of Government College University Faisalabad, Prof. Dr. Rauf-i-Azam, has inaugurated new facilities provided for female students in the girls’ hostels. On this occasion, he also inaugurated warden rooms and two modern RO plants for clean drinking water.
The Vice Chancellor visited Syeda Maimoona Hall and Syeda Hafsa Hall, managed under Hall Council 4, and conducted a detailed review of the residential, academic, and other facilities available to students. He also inspected the hostel mess rooms, kitchens, cleanliness arrangements, and security conditions.
During the visit, Chairperson Hall Council Prof. Dr. Maryam Rehman briefed the Vice Chancellor in detail about ongoing development projects, mess arrangements, and other facilities in the hostels. Wardens of the Hall Council, hostel superintendents, and assistant superintendents were also present on the occasion. The Vice Chancellor appreciated the services of Warden Hall Council 4, Prof. Dr. Nudrat Ayesha, and expressed satisfaction with the facilities available in the hostels.
Speaking on the occasion, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Rauf-i-Azam stated that the university administration is taking comprehensive measures to provide a safe, clean, and conducive environment for female students. He emphasized that providing healthy food, quality accommodation, and an excellent academic and learning environment for students is among the university’s top priorities.
He further added that the process of improving hostel facilities in line with modern requirements will continue so that students can pursue their education with full concentration.
It is worth mentioning that new visiting rooms and waiting rooms have also been established in the girls’ hostels for the convenience of students and their families.
On this occasion, various stalls offering food, shopping, and other items were also set up in the hostels for students’ recreation, where hostel residents actively participated in shopping.
