The painting exhibition titled “Where Spring Comes to a Halt” was inaugurated at Government College University Faisalabad

A painting exhibition was organized by the Institute of Art and Design at Government College University Faisalabad. The exhibition was jointly inaugurated by the Vice Chancellor of Government College University Faisalabad, Prof. Dr. Rauf-i-Azam, and the Vice Chancellor of Government College Women University Faisalabad, Professor Dr. Kanwal Ameen.
The artworks displayed in the exhibition consisted of paintings created by Tehmina Afzal, Incharge of the Institute of Art and Design. The exhibition has been titled “Where Spring Comes to a Halt” and will continue for two days.
The exhibition beautifully showcased natural beauty, the charming seasons of Pakistan, the vibrancy of colors, and scenes of rural life. In particular, depictions of village landscapes, lush green grass along roadsides, tall trees, and the mesmerizing views of the setting sun deeply impressed the visitors.
On this occasion, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Rauf-i-Azam stated that art reflects the culture, civilization, and intellectual awareness of any society. Such creative exhibitions not only highlight students’ talents but also provide them with an opportunity to express their feelings, observations, and ideas in a positive way.
Vice Chancellor of Government College Women University Faisalabad, Professor Dr. Kanwal Ameen, said that the exhibition beautifully highlights natural beauty and the vibrancy of colors. These artworks are not only a testament to artistic skill but also captivate the hearts of viewers.
She further added that this exhibition will prove to be a memorable and remarkable experience not only for students but also for art enthusiasts.
