GCUF Hosts Allah Wale Foundation Delegation, Expands Opportunities for Deserving Students

A delegation from Allah Wale Foundation (AWF) visited Government College University Faisalabad and held a meeting with Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Rauf-I-Azam to discuss ongoing and future collaborations aimed at supporting students through scholarships and mentorship programs.

The delegation comprised Mr. Hasan Afzal, Country Head, and Mr. Hamza Ali, Scholarship Senior Program Officer, along with two other members of the Allah Wale Foundation.

On the occasion, Incharge Financial Aid Office, Miss Saima Perveen, briefed the delegation on the university’s scholarship programs and financial assistance initiatives aimed at supporting deserving students.

During the visit, the delegation engaged in an interactive session with students who have been awarded scholarships under the Allah Wale Foundation. The students shared their academic journeys and expressed gratitude for the financial and moral support extended by the Foundation.

The delegation also introduced its Fellowship Program, which is being launched in universities across Pakistan. Under this initiative, students from primary to university levels will receive guidance and mentorship from distinguished professionals across various fields. The program is designed to provide practical insights, share life experiences, and motivate students to strive for excellence and a brighter future. Selected students will also be involved as ambassadors to collaborate with the Foundation in its outreach and development activities.

The visiting team encouraged students to remain focused on their academic goals and emphasized the importance of perseverance, discipline, and community service in achieving success.
