Prof Dr Rauf-i-Azam, Vice Chancellor of Government College University Faisalabad, visited Punjab Agriculture Food and Drug Authority (PAFDA) along with a delegation from the university to explore opportunities for academic and research collaboration.

During the visit, the delegation held a meeting with officials of PAFDA and was given a comprehensive tour of the authority’s state-of-the-art laboratories. The delegation observed the advanced testing facilities and modern technologies being utilized for the analysis of food, agricultural products, and pharmaceuticals.

Director General PAFDA Dr Talat Nasir Pasha warmly welcomed the Vice Chancellor and his delegation. He briefed the visitors about the authority’s mandate, operational framework, and its role in ensuring the safety, quality, and regulatory compliance of food and drug products across the province.

Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Dr. Rauf-i-Azam appreciated the advanced infrastructure, professional standards, and scientific expertise available at PAFDA. He acknowledged the authority’s vital role in strengthening food and drug safety systems and enhancing research and regulatory capacity in Punjab.
