GCUF Launches 05-Day Faculty Induction Program to Strengthen Academic Excellence

The first session of the 05-Day New Faculty Induction & Academic Practice Program, being held from 05–09 October 2026 at Lincoln Corner, STC Hall, New Campus, GCUF, focused on strengthening academic professionalism, institutional understanding, and effective academic practice among newly inducted faculty.
Prof. Dr. Rauf-i-Azam, Vice Chancellor, GCUF, personally served as a Resource Person and led an inspiring session on Academic Integrity, Professional Honesty, and Fair Assessment, emphasizing the values that underpin excellence, credibility, and trust in higher education.
The session was followed by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Hidayat Rasool, who discussed the University Ordinance, HEC/GCUF policies, workplace ethics, administrative structure, and the roles and responsibilities of faculty members.
Prof. Dr. Muhammad Abrar conducted a practical session on academic and semester rules, course planning, and the preparation and maintenance of course files.
A key feature of the session was the active participation of faculty members, who engaged in discussions, raised questions, shared perspectives, and interacted with the Resource Persons, making the training highly interactive and practice-oriented.
The program aims to equip faculty with the knowledge, professional values, institutional understanding, and academic practices required for an effective and responsible academic career at GCUF.
