A blood donation camp was organized by the Blood Donors Society (BDS) of Government College University Faisalabad (GCUF), in collaboration with Sundas Foundation, at the Healthcare Center, Ali Zaidi Block, Main Campus. Students, faculty members, employees, and other members of the university community participated enthusiastically in the camp. A total of 100 blood donations were collected during the camp.

On the occasion, the Vice Chancellor of Government College University Faisalabad said that blood donation is a great act of humanitarian service. The active participation of university students and employees in this noble cause is highly commendable. Such initiatives promote a sense of responsibility and the spirit of serving humanity in society.

The Director Student Affairs said that the positive and enthusiastic response of the university community to the blood donation camp demonstrates that our students and employees actively participate in welfare and humanitarian activities. He appreciated the valuable support of Sundas Foundation and the contribution of all supporting departments.

Dr. Imtiaz Mahmood Tahir, In-charge of the GCUF Blood Donors Society, said that receiving 100 blood donations today is highly encouraging. Every blood donation can become a ray of hope for a patient in need. He expressed his heartfelt gratitude to all the donors, supporting departments, the Healthcare Center, and Sundas Foundation for their cooperation in making the camp successful.

He further said that the Blood Donors Society will continue its efforts to promote voluntary blood donation and provide assistance to patients in need in the future as well.
