GCUF Signs MoU with University of Maryland School of Medicine to Strengthen Global Research Collaboration

A significant milestone in international academic and scientific cooperation was achieved with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Government College University Faisalabad Pakistan, and the University of Maryland School of Medicine, Baltimore, Maryland, USA, to promote scientific research, innovation, and academic collaboration.
Prof. Dr. Rauf-i-Azam, Vice Chancellor of Government College University Faisalabad, signed the MoU during a formal ceremony attended by Dr. Malik Saadullah (Chairperson, Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry), Prof. Dr. Muhammad Riaz (Director, International Linkage), and faculty members.
Under the agreement, both universities will collaborate in areas of mutual scientific interest, including joint research projects on Natural Product Chemistry, faculty and student exchange, co-supervision of research scholars, joint publications, research training, seminars, conferences, and sharing of scientific knowledge and expertise.
Speaking on the occasion, Vice Chancellor Government College University Faisalabad highlighted the importance of international partnerships in strengthening research capacity and providing students and faculty with opportunities to engage with global scientific communities.
