Government College University Faisalabad officially inaugurated the GCUF Toastmasters International Club during an installation ceremony held at the university.

Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Rauf-i-Azam attended the ceremony as the chief guest and appreciated the initiative, describing it as an important step towards developing students’ communication, leadership and public speaking skills.

The installation was formally announced by Toastmaster Ahmad Suleman, followed by the oath-taking ceremony of the newly elected executive team. The office-bearers pledged to serve the club with dedication, integrity and professionalism while promoting a culture of effective communication, confidence, leadership and lifelong learning among students.

Addressing the ceremony, the Vice Chancellor said universities must equip students not only with academic knowledge but also with leadership qualities, critical thinking and effective communication skills to prepare them for future challenges. He reaffirmed the university’s commitment to providing opportunities that foster the personal and professional development of students.

The ceremony was attended by Toastmasters leaders, faculty members, students and distinguished guests, who expressed confidence that the club would serve as a platform for nurturing future leaders and strengthening the culture of excellence at GCUF.
