Government College University Faisalabad (GCUF) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Kaarvan Crafts Foundation to strengthen collaboration under the Multipurpose Center (MPC) initiative aimed at promoting education, skills development, and community empowerment.

The agreement was signed by Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Rauf-i-Azam and Kaarvan Crafts Foundation Chief Executive Officer Mr. Danish Jabbar Khan. The collaboration also includes the establishment of a well-equipped computer laboratory at the university to facilitate training and capacity-building activities.

The signing ceremony was attended by Prof. Dr. Zahira Batool, In-Charge, Women Development Center, GCUF, Ms. Amna Ali, Project Director, and District Officer Muhammad Naeem, along with officials from both organizations.

Under the partnership, GCUF and the Kaarvan Crafts Foundation will jointly undertake research, training, entrepreneurship, and community development initiatives with a special focus on empowering youth and women through education, digital skills, and sustainable development.

Speaking on the occasion, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Rauf-i-Azam said the university was committed to equipping young people, particularly women, with modern skills and professional training to enhance their employability and enable them to contribute effectively to national development.
