BIC GCUF Holds Successful Pitching Competition 2026 for Students and Faculty Startup Induction

The Business Incubation Center (BIC) at Government College University Faisalabad successfully organized its Pitching Competition 2026 to select startups for the 6th batch of student-led ventures and the 4th batch of faculty-led ventures.
The competition was conducted under the supervision of an official Selection Committee constituted by the Vice Chancellor in accordance with the guidelines of the Higher Education Commission (HEC). A total of 54 startup proposals shortlisted from various faculties of the university, competed in the final pitching round.
The evaluation panel was chaired by Prof. Dr. Sofia Anwa, Dean Faculty of Economics and Management Sciences, Other members of the panel included the Dean faculty of Engeenring, Director ORIC, Manager BIC, an HEC representative, and a distinguished industry expert.
During the event, participating students and faculty members presented innovative business ideas and entrepreneurial solutions with remarkable confidence and professionalism. The presentations highlighted the growing entrepreneurial mindset within the university community and showcased a wide range of innovative concepts to address contemporary market and societal challenges.
Speaking on the occasion, the organizers appreciated the participants’ enthusiasm and creativity and emphasized the importance of enhancing innovation-driven entrepreneurship within higher education institutions.
