The Department of Electrical Engineering Technology, Government College University Faisalabad, successfully organized the Open House & Job Fair 2026 at the New Campus, providing a platform for students to showcase innovative projects and connect with industry leaders.

Students from the Departments of Electrical, Civil, Mechanical, and Chemical Engineering Technology presented their Final Year Design Projects before representatives from leading organizations, including Nayatel, PARCO, FCCI, ITU Lahore, Happilac Paints, Indus Electric, and several renowned industries. Industry experts evaluated the projects based on innovation, technical feasibility, practical application, and commercial potential, and outstanding projects were awarded top positions.

On this occasion, Dean Faculty of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Abdul Rauf Bhatti, briefed the Vice Chancellor about the Open House and Job Fair. He stated that the event aimed to strengthen industry-academia linkages, showcase students’ innovative projects, and provide employment opportunities and professional exposure to graduating students.

Vice Chancellor GCUF, Prof. Dr. Rauf-I-Azam, along with Deans, Directors, Chairpersons, and faculty members, visited the exhibition and appreciated the students’ creativity and technical competence. He encouraged students to transform their ideas into startups and contribute to national development through innovation and entrepreneurship.
