Government College University Faisalabad Celebrates 75 Years of Pakistan-China Friendship

Government College University Faisalabad has formally launched celebrations marking the 75th anniversary of the enduring friendship between Pakistan and China. The university campus was illuminated with colorful lights and China. The university campus was illuminated with colorful lights and decorated with the national flags of both countries, while goodwill banners highlighting the spirit of bilateral friendship were displayed across various locations.
In his special message, the Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Rauf-I-Azam said that Pakistan-China friendship holds a unique and exemplary status in the world, rooted in mutual trust, affection, cultural harmony, and unwavering cooperation. He remarked that both countries have always stood by each other in difficult times, and this strong bond will continue to symbolize peace, progress, and prosperity for future generations.
He further stated that, in line with the directions of the Government of Pakistan, the university is celebrating the 75 year milestone with great national spirit and enthusiasm. A series of seminars, cultural performances, literary and academic activities, and cultural exchange programs will be organized to educate students about the significance of Pakistan-China relations and their shared future
Director Students Affairs Dr. Nadeem Suhail said that these events aim to strengthen cultural ties, promote mutual cooperation, and inspire the younger generation to further enhance the historic friendship between the two nations.
