Government College University Faisalabad and National Defence University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) Academic Cooperation Agreement (ACA) aimed at promoting collaboration in academic and research activities.

The agreement was signed by Vice Chancellor GCUF Prof. Dr. Rauf-i-Azam and Rear Admiral Shaquat Hussain Akhtar, HI(M), Dy. President NDU Islamabad.

Barrister Dr. Fozia Naseem, Assistant Professor GCUF, was nominated as the focal person from the university and Prof Dr. Abdul Jalil, Director ORIC, Focal person form NDU.

Under the agreement, both institutions will collaborate in joint research projects, academic publications, conferences, seminars, workshops, faculty and student exchange programmes, and participation in curriculum advisory boards. The collaboration will also facilitate students’ participation in NDU summer schools and other relevant academic activities.

As part of the MoU, a leadership development program will also be launched at GCUF in collaboration with NDU to enhance the leadership, strategic thinking, and professional capabilities of students and faculty members

Speaking on the occasion, the representatives of both institutions emphasized the importance of strengthening academic partnerships to promote research, innovation, and knowledge sharing for national development.
