GCUF Clinches Overall Team Trophy at ISCE 2026, Excels Across 39 Competitions in Islamabad

Government College University Faisalabad secured the Overall Team Trophy at the 6th International Students’ Convention and Expo (ISCE) 2026 held in Islamabad, marking a significant achievement on both national and international academic platforms.
The four-day convention brought together around 10,000 national and international students from 13 countries, alongside participation from leading universities and industry representatives. Activities of the event were hosted at FAST University Islamabad, Riphah International University Islamabad, and Pak-Austria Fachhochschule Haripur, KPK.
Out of a total of 39 competitions held during the convention, GCUF teams demonstrated outstanding performance by securing 18 top positions. The university clinched 9 first positions in Naat, Painting, Calligraphy, Bait Bazi, Short Story (English), Essay Writing, Model United Nations (PNA), Scavenger Hunt, and PUBG. GCUF also secured 8 second positions in Science Model Competition, English Declamation, Short Story (Urdu), Essay Writing, Speed Programming, Mini AI Models, Ignite 13+2, and Table Tennis (Female), along with one third position in Calligraphy.
Vice Chancellor GCUF, Prof Dr Rauf-i-Azam, extended heartfelt congratulations and appreciation to the participating students and acknowledged the valuable contributions of various student societies, including the Directorate of Students Affairs, Manzoor-ul-Qunain Qirat & Naat Society, IEEE Society, Green Youth Movement Club, Fine Art Society, Writers Club, and Jinnah Debating Society. These societies, working under the Directorate of Student Affairs (DSA), played a pivotal role in training, mentoring, and preparing the participants. The achievement underscores GCUF’s vibrant co-curricular environment and reinforces its standing as a leading institution committed to excellence in academics, innovation, and student development.
