Prime Minister’s Laptop Scheme: Laptops distributed among male and female students at the Hafizabad Campus of GC University Faisalabad.

The Era of Technology and Artificial Intelligence – Empowering Youth is the Government’s Priority: Saira Afzal Tarar, Coordinator to the Chief Minister Punjab

A dignified ceremony was held at the Hafizabad Sub-Campus of Government College University Faisalabad under the Prime Minister’s Laptop Scheme, where laptops were distributed among male and female students. The ceremony was attended by the Coordinator to the Chief Minister Punjab for Health and Population Welfare and Member of the National Assembly, Saira Afzal Tarar, and the Vice Chancellor of Government College University Faisalabad, Prof Dr Rauf-i-Azam, as chief guests. During the district-level ceremony, a total of 63 students of the Government College University Faisalabad Hafizabad Campus were provided with laptops.

While addressing the ceremony, Saira Afzal Tarar said that the present era is the era of technology, information technology, and artificial intelligence, and the top priority of the Government of Pakistan is to equip the younger generation with modern skills and requirements. She stated that educated and talented youth are the most valuable asset of the country, and the government is utilizing all available resources for their welfare, economic empowerment, and social development. She further urged the younger generation to focus on the country’s progress instead of believing in false propaganda.

Vice Chancellor of Government College University Faisalabad, Prof Dr Rauf-i-Azam, while addressing the event, appreciated the Prime Minister’s Laptop Scheme and the Punjab Chief Minister’s Scholarship Scheme. He said that the provision of laptops and scholarships on merit reflects transparency and educational justice.

Speaking on the occasion, Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Rauf-i-Azam said that the GC University Faisalabad campus established in Hafizabad has become an important center of higher educational facilities. He added that through this campus, quality education is being provided to students of the region, and efforts are being made to equip them with knowledge so that they can become responsible and productive members of society. Prof Dr Rauf-i-Azam further said that Government College University Faisalabad is continuously striving to promote academic standards, research, and modern knowledge, and such initiatives by the government further strengthen the educational mission of universities.

At the end of the ceremony, Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Rauf-i-Azam, along with the chief guest Saira Afzal Tarar, distributed laptops among the students.
