University Model School Inaugurated at Government College University Faisalabad

The newly constructed University Model School, A Project of Government College University Faisalabad was inaugurated by 𝑬𝒏𝒈𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒆𝒓 𝑸𝒂𝒎𝒂𝒓-𝒖-𝒁𝒂𝒎𝒂𝒏 along with Vice Chancellor 𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒇. 𝑫𝒓. 𝑹𝒂𝒖𝒇-𝒊-𝑨𝒛𝒂𝒎.
Engineer Qamar-u-Zaman, an alumnus of GCUF and a major donor to the university, provided significant financial support for the construction of the school. He also donated 14 acres of land to his alma mater. Speaking on the occasion, he expressed his pleasure at the completion of the project and emphasized that quality education and proper training of children are essential for building a balanced and civilized society. He also announced his continued support for the university’s development and appreciated the efforts of Deputy Registrar Zeeshan Ahmad Khan in the successful completion of the project.
The University Model School will provide educational facilities from nursery to Grade Five, offering quality learning opportunities not only to children residing in the university staff colony but also to those from surrounding areas.
Addressing the ceremony, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Rauf-i-Azam termed the establishment of the school a significant step toward promoting quality primary education. He stated that the progress of any nation depends on the education and upbringing of its younger generation. He added that the school would provide a safe and high-quality educational environment and contribute to nurturing responsible and enlightened citizens.
The ceremony was also attended by Pro Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Nasir Amin, university alumni Dr. Saulat Nawaz, Muhammad Fayyaz Butt Advocate, Dr Habib Aslam Gabba, along with deans, directors, faculty members, and a large gathering of children.
