The Vice Chancellor of Government College University Faisalabad visited the libraries and directed the provision of better facilities for students

Professor Dr. Rauf Azam, Vice Chancellor of Government College University Faisalabad, visited the Main Campus, including the Central Library, Fatima Jinnah Library, and Quaid-e-Azam Block. On this occasion, he met with students, listened to their concerns, and inquired about the facilities available in the libraries.
The Vice Chancellor directed immediate measures to provide students with a peaceful and comfortable environment, issuing instructions for the installation of additional air conditioners in the Fatima Jinnah Library and the improvement of other facilities.
Speaking on the occasion, Professor Dr. Rauf Azam said that a library is the intellectual heart of any university, from which the light of knowledge, research, and ideas spreads throughout the academic environment. He emphasized that students should make reading a part of their daily routine and fully benefit from the modern resources of the library, so they may acquire expertise in their academic fields and play an effective role in the development of society.
He further added that at the New Campus, Allama Iqbal Library is being equipped with meeting rooms and separate spaces for academic discussions among students. These will be furnished with modern facilities to enable students to continue their research and scholarly activities in an even better manner.
