Distribution of Promotion Orders for Tenure Track System (TTS) Faculty at Government College University Faisalabad.

Promoted faculty members should perform their duties with renewed energy and passion, playing their part in aligning the University with international standards of education and research. This was stated by Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Rauf Azam while addressing the ceremony.

At Government College University Faisalabad (GCUF), the promotion orders for Tenure Track System (TTS) faculty were distributed by Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Rauf Azam. The University Registrar, Ghulam Ghaus, was also present on this occasion.

These promotion orders were issued based on the recommendations of the Selection Board and the approval of the Syndicate Committee. During the ceremony, the Vice Chancellor congratulated the promoted faculty members and expressed hope that they would fulfill their responsibilities with even greater dedication, sincerity, and commitment, contributing to the academic and research advancement of the institution.

According to details, 38 faculty members were promoted from Assistant Professor to Associate Professor, while 29 Associate Professors were elevated to the rank of Professor. On this occasion, the Vice Chancellor stated that this advancement of faculty is not only a recognition of their individual hard work and research contributions but also a reflection of the overall academic progress of the University.

Prof. Dr. Rauf Azam emphasized that faculty members are the backbone of any educational institution. Their dedication, research, and teaching services play a vital role in the training of students and the welfare of society.

In his address, Prof. Dr. Rauf Azam further announced that the process of hiring more permanent faculty on the BPS (Basic Pay Scale) system will soon begin at the University, which will further enhance teaching and research activities.
