The exhibition was formally inaugurated by Vice Chancellor ๐๐ซ๐จ๐. ๐๐ซ. ๐๐๐ฎ๐-๐ข-๐๐ณ๐๐ฆ, who appreciated the students’ artistic expression and innovative approach. He was joined at the event by ๐๐ฌ. Qurrat Ul Ain Vice President, The Federation of Pakistan chamber of commerce and industry, ๐๐ฌ. ๐๐ฎ๐๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐ฆ๐ฃ๐ข๐ and ๐๐ซ ๐๐ฎ๐ณ๐๐ฆ๐ข๐ฅ ๐๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ญ๐๐ง from Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and industry and ๐๐ฌ. ๐๐๐ก๐ฆ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐๐ณ๐๐ฅ, Incharge of the Institute of Art and Design along with faculty members and other distinguished guests.
The degree show featured a wide array of fashion creations, including various fashion categories bridal couture, casual wear, Regional Fashion street style, and experimental concepts, reflecting the innovative spirit and artistic expression of the emerging designers. This dynamic display not only celebrated the studentsโ talent but also demonstrated their readiness to contribute meaningfully to the fashion and textile industry.
Speaking at the occasion, Vice Chancellor ๐๐ซ๐จ๐. ๐๐ซ. ๐๐๐ฎ๐-๐ข-๐๐ณ๐๐ฆ appreciated the creativity, innovation, and professionalism demonstrated by the fashion design students. Dr Rauf-i-Azam highlighted the significance of such platforms in nurturing young talent and aligning academic outcomes with industry needs. He emphasized that Faisalabad, being a hub of textile and fashion, offers immense opportunities for graduates, and urged the fashion industry to provide internships, mentorship, and employment avenues to support and uplift emerging designers.
