Vice Chancellor of Government College University Faisalabad, Professor Dr. Rauf Azam, visited various ongoing development projects at the New Campus and conducted a detailed inspection of the construction activities. He was accompanied by Director Planning and Development Professor Dr. Muhammad Iqbal, Project Director Engineer Ibrahim Khan, and Chairman Estate Care Professor Dr. Naeem Iqbal.

During the visit, the Vice Chancellor inspected several construction sites including the new video conference rooms being built in the Allama Iqbal Library, the new academic block, a school under construction for children, the under-construction building of the Examination Controller’s office, and the Botanical Garden. The Project Director gave a comprehensive briefing to the Vice Chancellor on the current status and progress of the projects. He informed that all projects are progressing rapidly and are being closely monitored by the university administration to ensure timely completion.

Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Rauf Azam expressed satisfaction over the pace and quality of the development work and issued clear directives for the early completion of all projects so that students and faculty can benefit from improved academic facilities. He emphasized that no compromise will be made on construction quality, and that transparency, integrity, and hard work will remain the core principles in the campus’s development.

These development activities reflect GCUF’s continuously expanding academic, research, and administrative capacities, positioning the university to emerge as a leading modern educational institution in the future.
