Government College University Faisalabad has taken another significant step by organizing a nationwide entry test for admissions to BS programs. This test was not only conducted at the university’s Main and New Campuses in Faisalabad but also in 16 major cities across Pakistan. Test centers were established in Quetta, Gilgit-Baltistan, Skardu, Peshawar, Lahore, Rawalpindi, Multan, Sargodha, Sahiwal, Sialkot, Bahawalpur, Gujranwala, Layyah, Toba Tek Singh, and other cities.

The extraordinary initiative aimed to provide entry test facilities close to students’ homes, especially those coming from remote areas, ensuring that no capable student is deprived of higher education due to distance. More than 10,600 students appeared in the test, reflecting their trust in GCUF and their enthusiasm for education.

The test results will soon be uploaded to the students’ portals. A minimum of 50% marks is required to pass. Students who do not qualify in this first phase will have the opportunity to appear in the second entry test, scheduled for July 12, 2025. Their fee vouchers will be made available on their portals.

Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Rauf Azam highly appreciated the Admission Committee, IT Services, Examination Department, Security Team, Estate Care, all faculty members, and departmental heads for their excellent and well-coordinated efforts.

The Vice Chancellor stated that Government College University Faisalabad is rapidly emerging as a leading institution not only in Pakistan but also on the global stage. Our top priority is to equip students with modern education, moral training, and technical skills, enabling them to become future leaders, researchers, and reformers. He further added that the trust shown by students and their parents in GCUF is a testament to the university’s credibility and excellence in the academic and research domains.
