The international seminar on Gender equality and social inclusion for sustainable cooling solution and climate resilient future under Sustainable Cooling Solutions for all Applications S2Cool Aryton Challenge program under UKRI grant has been organized by Dr. Farhana Nosheen, Principal Investigator GCUF, S2Cool.
Distinguish guestspeakers including Dr. Shahzad Wakil from Northumbria University Uk, Dr. Muhammad Sultan from BZU, Dr. Sadaf Mahmood from UAF, Dr. Faisal from Faisal Hospital, Mr. Usman Azhar from Enviroment Protection Agency,(EPA) Faisalabad, Dr. Tanveer Shahzad, GCUF, and Ms Christina Peter, senior vice president FWCCI and AWARD shared their talks on existing Heat stress and how they are contributing to address the extreme heat conditions in Pakistan, participants from university students, faculty, community activists, health care providers and informal workers were present.
All attendees have promised to work in colloboration for sustainable cooling solution and climate resilient future in Pakistan.
