
Government College University Faisalabad has taken a significant step toward global academic collaboration by signing MoUs with four prestigious ๐๐๐ง๐ ๐ฅ๐๐๐๐ฌ๐ก๐ข ๐ฎ๐ง๐ข๐ฏ๐๐ซ๐ฌ๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐๐ฌ: Daffodil International University, North South University, University of Asia Pacific, and International Islamic University Chittagong. These agreements aim to advance joint research, facilitate faculty and student exchange programs, and promote collaborative academic initiatives across diverse disciplines.
The MoUs were formalized on June 18, 2025, Under the patronage and support extended by ๐๐๐-๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐, being a member of the COMSTECH Consortium of Excellence (CCOE) Government College University Faisalabad signed MOU with leading universities of Bangladesh at the COMSTECH Secretariat Islamabad. ๐๐ซ๐จ๐.๐๐ซ ๐๐ฎ๐ก๐๐ฆ๐ฆ๐๐ ๐๐ช๐๐๐ฅ ๐๐ก๐จ๐ฎ๐๐ก๐๐ซ๐ฒ Coordinator General OIC-COMSTECH witnessed the occasion.
Ceremony was graced by His Excellency ๐๐ซ. ๐๐ช๐๐๐ฅ ๐๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฌ๐๐ข๐ง ๐๐ก๐๐ง, High Commissioner of Bangladesh to Pakistan. GCUF Vice Chancellor, ๐๐ซ๐จ๐. ๐๐ซ. ๐๐๐ฎ๐-๐ข-๐๐ณ๐๐ฆ, announced commitments to operationalize these partnerships through scholarships, exchange programs, and postdoctoral placements with the partnering institutions.
At this occasion ๐๐ซ ๐๐ฎ๐ก๐๐ฆ๐ฆ๐๐ ๐๐ฎ๐ซ๐ญ๐๐ณ๐ ๐๐จ๐จ๐ซ Focal Person /Coordinator COMSTECH Islamabad, also graced the ceremony, reaffirming COMSTECHโs commitment to fostering regional academic collaboration.
The Directorate of International Linkages at GCUF, led by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Riaz (Director) and Dr. Muhammad Tahir ul Qamar (Deputy Director), played a pivotal role in facilitating these agreements. Their efforts underscore GCUFโs dedication to strengthening its global academic and research outlook.
