A grand exhibition of the GCUF Art Gallery and Art Show was organized at the Institute of Art and Design, Government College University Faisalabad. Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Rauf Azam inaugurated the exhibition.

While addressing the participants at the inauguration of the art gallery, the Vice Chancellor said that “the models presented in the art show are not only a reflection of Islamic civilization but also a beautiful symbol of our national, social, and cultural heritage. These works of art represent our religious, aesthetic, and creative sensibilities.
He emphasized that the new GCUF Art Gallery will not only serve as a platform to enhance students’ creative abilities but will also act as a center of intellectual, cultural, and aesthetic engagement for the citizens of Faisalabad.”

Tehmina Afzal, In-charge of the Institute of Art and Design, guided the Vice Chancellor and guests through the faculty’s creations and the art show, highlighting the significance and technical aspects of each piece.

The event was graced by several distinguished personalities from the academic, literary, and artistic circles of the city, including:
Dr. Khurram Tariq (Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce), Pro Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Nasir Amin, Professor Dr. Rahat Naveed (Former Director, Punjab University), Dr. Imtiaz Ahmad Dogar (Allied Hospital), Dr. Samina Zia Sheikh (University of Education), Dr. Rubina Amjad, Ali Azmat (College of Art, Punjab University), and Zafar Dogar (Bureau Chief, City 41 Faisalabad).

They all highly appreciated the masterpieces of painting, visual arts, and artistic expression on display, and paid tribute to the faculty’s artistic skills.
