Equipped with modern facilities, the center ensures not only child care but also activities that enhance creativity. It offers play areas, learning materials, comfortable sleeping arrangements, and high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.

Speaking at the event, Vice Chancellor Dr. Rauf Azam said that the university has a significant number of female teachers and staff, and establishing a daycare center had become a basic necessity to make their professional responsibilities more efficient and stress-free. This center is a practical reflection of our commitment to promoting a friendly, inclusive, and collaborative academic environment.

On this occasion, Professor Dr. Zahra Batool, In-charge of the Daycare Center, emphasized the importance of this facility, stating that it will not only provide peace of mind to working women but also enhance their performance and personal satisfaction. It is an important step for women striving to maintain a balance between professional and family life.

Professor Dr. Zahra Batool also gave the Vice Chancellor a detailed briefing on the center’s facilities, management, safety measures, and staff training.

This facility will not only ease life for employees residing in the New Campus staff colony and their children, but MPhil and PhD students’ children will also benefit from it. Meanwhile, the daycare center at the Main Campus is already operational and providing its services.
