Government College University Faisalabad (GCUF) has taken a significant step to improve transport facilities for its students by adding two new buses to its fleet. The buses were officially handed over to the Motor Transport Officer, Professor Dr. Muhammad Ibrahim, during a special inauguration ceremony. With this addition, the total number of buses at the Main Campus has increased to 15. These buses will serve as shuttle services, providing pick-and-drop facilities between the Main Campus and the New Campus.
Speaking at the event, Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Rauf Azam emphasized the university’s commitment to providing state-of-the-art transport and academic facilities to its students. “Students are our bright future, and ensuring their comfort and convenience in academics and transportation is our top priority,” he said. He also highlighted that all campuses of GCUF are being equipped with modern resources, and the national and international recognition of the university reflects its progress in the right direction.
The Vice-Chancellor further stated that three buses have also been allocated to the Chiniot Sub-Campus, and transport facilities are being provided at the Hafizabad Sub-Campus as well. On this occasion, Professor Dr. Muhammad Ibrahim expressed gratitude to the Vice-Chancellor for his continuous efforts in providing modern transport services to students.
This initiative reflects the university’s dedication to enhancing the educational experience and making daily commutes more convenient for its students.
