Registrar Office

The Registrar is one of the statutory Principal Officers of the University and is responsible for various assignments, including maintaining academic and administrative records, organizing statutory and other meetings, recruitment, awarding scholarships, and overseeing the day-to-day affairs of the University. The Registrar also serves as the Secretary of the Syndicate, Academic Council, Selection Board, and Advanced Studies & Research Board and as a Member/Secretary of various other committees constituted by the authorities from time to time.

The Office of the Registrar at Government College University, Faisalabad, facilitates and collaborates with other departments and stakeholders of the University, including students, teaching faculty, administrative staff, and the general public. Additionally, it engages with external bodies and agencies to fulfill official obligations.

A wide range of services is provided by various branches of the Office of the Registrar, including:

  • Student registration
  • Overall monitoring of the University’s internal and external affairs
  • Recruitment, employment, and development of employees
  • Policymaking, record-keeping, and management of day-to-day affairs
  • Awarding scholarships and providing financial aid to deserving students
  • Governance and implementation of curricula, academic standards, and policies
  • Organizing and maintaining records of meetings of the University’s statutory bodies
  • Maintenance of employee records and management of personnel files for teaching, non-teaching, administrative, contingent, and project staff
