Career Counseling & Alumni Affairs
The Directorate of Career Counseling & Alumni Affairs (CC&AA) consolidates the bond between alumni and their alma-mater. It provides graduates with career help in person and online. Through counselling, advice, and specially created facilities for student learning and wellbeing with reference to their profession, it offers exciting and high quality services. It combines their talents and interests for a prosperous future. Additionally, it links the departing students with the fellows who are still enrolled so that they may exchange experiences and success stories. It plans events such as alumni dinners, workshops, awareness campaigns, career lectures and alumni sports.
Mission
The directorate’s mission is to foster a sense of community and pride among alumni while providing a platform for students to self-examine, set career goals, and be helped in their lifelong career paths. It also aims to connect current students with successful alumni while providing high quality services and counselling to them. Since 2017, the office has been operating effectively.
Objectives
To assist students in securing their jobs
To train them in preparing their resumes, curriculum vitae, statement of purpose, job applications and job interviews
To give them a forum where they may share their recollections with former and current students
To enable students to make enduring, accountable and significant choices in a global and vibrant world
To enrich students with leadership qualities to serve the nation enthusiastically
