1. Qualification & Experience for Professor (all disciplines except Pharmacy)

Age Limit: 35-55 Years Qualification:- PhD from an HEC recognized Institution in the relevant field. Experience: 15-year teaching/research experience in HEC recognized University or a post-graduate institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or international organization OR 10-years post-PhD teaching / research experience in a recognized University or a post-graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization. Publications: The applicant must have 15 research publications (with at least 5 publications in the last 5 years) in HEC recognized journals.

2. Qualification and Experience for Professor of Pharmacy

Age Limit: 35-55 Years Qualification:- PhD degree from HEC recognized Institution in the relevant field. Experience: 15-year teaching/research experience in HEC recognized University or a post-graduate institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization OR Experience: 10-years post-PhD teaching/ research experience in a HEC recognized University or a post graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization. Publication: 15 research publications (with at least 5 publications in the last 5 years) in HEC recognized journals

3. Qualification & Experience for Associate Professor (all disciplines except Pharmacy & Computer Science)

Age Limit: 35-50 Years Qualification:- PhD in the relevant field from an HEC recognized University / Institution. Experience: 10-years teaching / research experience in an HEC recognized University or a post graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization. OR Experience: 5-years post-PhD teaching / research experience in an HEC recognized University or a post-graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization. Publications: The applicant must have 10 publications (with at least 4 publications in the last 5 years) in HEC recognized journals.

4. Qualification & Experience for Associate Professor of Pharmacy

Age Limit: 35-50 Years Qualification: Ph.D in the relevant field from an HEC recognized University/Institution Experience: 10-years teaching / research experience in an HEC recognized University or a post graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization. OR Experience: 5-years post-PhD teaching/ research experience in HEC recognized University or a post graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization. Publication: 10 publications (with at least 4 publications in the 5 years) in HEC recognized journals

5. Qualification & Experience for Associate Professor of Computer Science

Age Limit: 35-50 Years Qualification: Ph.D degree in relevant field from institution recognized by HEC in consultation with PEC. Experience: 07-years teaching / research experience in a recognized institution/ college / University or 07 years professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization out of which 2 years must be teaching experience. OR Experience: 5-years post-PhD teaching / research experience in an HEC recognized University or a post-graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization. Publications: 08 research publications (with at least 02 publications by the calendar year 2008) in HEC / PEC recognized journals.

6 Qualification & Experience for Assistant Professor (all disciplines except Pharmacy)

Age Limit: 30-45 Years Qualification: Ph.D. in the relevant field from HEC recognized University / Institution Experience: No experience required OR Qualification: Master’s degree (foreign) or M.Phil (Pakistan) or equivalent degrees awarded after 18 years of education as determined by the HEC in the relevant field from an HEC recognized university / institution. Experience: 4 year teaching / research experience in a recognized university or a post graduation institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a national or international organization

7. Qualification & Experience for Assistant Professor of Pharmacy

Age Limit 30-45 years Qualification:- Ph.D. in the relevant field from an HEC recognized University / Institution or equivalent degree awarding after 18 years of education as determined by the HEC. Experience:- No Experience required for Ph.D. degree holders OR Qualification:- Master’s degree (foreign) or M.Phil. (Pakistan) or equivalent degree awarded after 18-years of education in the relevant filed from an HEC recognized University/Institution. Experience:- 4 years teaching / research experience in a recognized University or a post-graduation Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International organization.

8. Qualification for University Medical Officer (BPS-17)

Age Limit 24-34 years Qualification:- M.B.B.S., Regd. (PMDC)

Instructions:

• The prescribed application form can be downloaded from the website of the University (http://www.gcuf.edu.pk/) and shall be submitted with demand draft of Rs. 700/- in favour of Treasurer, Government College University, Faisalabad. However, the applicants desiring to have form through post may obtain the same on written request along with self addressed envelop of large size with Rs. 30/- postage stamps. The dully filled in application form must be supported with attested copies of educational testimonials / certificates, I.D. Card, two recent photographs and updated Curriculum Vitae.
• The candidates from abroad may submit their applications on plain paper, accompanied by recent Curriculum Vitae along with attested copies of degrees / testimonials and experience certificates.
• Incomplete or the applications received after due date will not be entertained.
• The University reserves the rights not to consider any application or fill the post without giving any reason.
• The applications are required on prescribed form in quadruplicate for the posts of Professors & Associate Professors and triplicate for Assistant Professors & Medical Officer.
• The candidate already in Service must apply through proper channel by the due date.
